About
Makayla's theatre career spans over 18 years and is marked by extensive experience in managing and producing a wide range of productions, concerts, tours, events and benefits.
Beginning her career in New York, Makayla played a key role in delivering hundreds of successful projects across the United States. In 2011, she relocated to Australia, where her career highlights include serving as General Manager for the Australia and New Zealand tour of CATS the musical, starring Delta Goodrem, Tour Manager for Bernadette Peters’ Australian tour and Associate Producer of the 2013 World AIDS Day event at Melbourne’s Government House.
In 2016, Makayla returned to New York to become the Company Manager for the Broadway revival of CATS the musical, featuring new choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler (of Hamilton fame). By 2018, she returned to Melbourne as Executive Producer for TEG Live - Life Like Touring, where she executive produced Puffs the Play and Nickelodeon's PAW Patrol Live! on a global scale, among other notable productions. Most recently, Makayla served as Senior Production Executive for Aspect Entertainment, where she consulted and worked across multiple platforms, including film, theatre, concerts and exhibitions.
A proud member of the Association of Theatrical Press Agents and Managers (ATPAM/IATSE), Makayla holds dual citizenship in the USA and Australia, reflecting her global career and expertise.​​
